TEE & CARA, "As They Are", 1968

Tee Sapoff et Cara Beckenstein ont respectivement 18 et 16 ans lorsqu'il enregistrent cet album. Les notes de pochette les décrivent comme des jeunes gens bien de leur temps, mais ce disque léger et soyeux, aux arrangements surannés, vient régulièrement dire le contraire, laissant l'impression de n'être pas concerné par le tumulte de ces années là. Même le "Hard Day's Night" des Beatles est transformé en une ballade languide et rêveuse...

The John Palmer record seems to be in the loner folk vein, on the lysergia page says similar to skip spence, and the Bernard Backman is a xtian psych-folk record, although I don't know if it's really psych or really folk, but they seem interesting, on ebay I saw that hi second lp was for selling portrait of woman, I think that one song was famous or nearly a hit called reverse revelation or something like that :p
well, anyway if I find them first I will let you know
